Discovery of the Edusign Instructor Platform

Discover the different features available on Edusign.

1. Login

On mobile or tablet – Please go to the Edusign Instructor app
OR
On a computer via a browser – Please go to https://edusign.app/professor/login 

2. Main Page



  • After logging in, you can view past and upcoming sessions. You can even sync the sessions from the Edusign calendar to your personal calendar.
  • The Sessions tab allows you to view and manage current or upcoming sessions assigned to the instructor.
  • The History section provides access to past sessions assigned to the instructor. For example, it can be used to check who was present or absent in a previous class.
  • Finally, the Calendar tab displays all past, current, and upcoming sessions for the instructor.
  • To add your student's attendance, please click on a session, which appears in color in the first tab.

3. Add your student's attendance

Please note that if the session is in person, you only need to sign yourself and allow the students to tap their mobile phones on the NFC tag to confirm their attendance. However, if the session is remote, you will need to send a signature email to the students to confirm their presence.

 
Once a session is selected, you can add your student's attendance.


However, you will first be asked to sign. Please sign using your finger or mouse.

You can then select a signature method from the following:

NFC Tag (MAIN METHOD) – If the session is in person, please inform students that they must use their phones to scan the NFC tag by accessing the Edusign app to confirm their attendance.
Signature Email – If the session is remote (don’t forget to uncheck absent students before sending the signature email).

Additional methods: (rarely used)

  • QR Code Scan

  • Shared Link – If needed

  • On your device – In case no device is available, during in-person sessions

Signatures are added in real time to your space and the administrators’ space. You don’t need to confirm or send anything.

4. Late arrivals, absences, excused absences, exclusions, and comments.

Through the "Actions" menu, you can add late arrivals, comments, or excused absences for each student.

A general comment can also be added.
